This 12Q highlights Guillermo Arango, who engages in various engrepreneurial activities and is active in the Houston startup ecosystem. In the mid-1970s he was a software engineer at two computing startups, participated in industrial automation projects at the Argentine shipyard Astilleros y Fabricas Navales del Estado, and worked at YPF. He then worked for 15 years at Schlumberger and 13 years at Baker Hughes. Guille holds a PhD degree in computer science and certifications in international management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and marketing from INSEAD in France. People know Guille as a technologist, futurist, and ardent trail walker.

This 12Q highlights Stuart Page, Managing Director of The Carlyle Group, a $2.8 billion fund dedicated to energy investments. Prior to this Stuart was Chief Executive Officer of Glori Energy, an oil production and technology company that he took public on NASDAQ in 2014. During his 30-year career in the industry, Stuart has led upstream oil and gas businesses in seven countries on four continents. Stuart is an avid cyclist who often devotes his bike-riding to help raise money for various causes.

A citizen of Argentina, Roberto started as a wireline engineer in Patagonia, then spent 32 years at Schlumberger. After his career at Schlumberger, he switched from the oilfield services business to run several oil companies. He was first in charge of Maxus Energy Corporation in Dallas and then moved back to Argentina to serve as president and CEO or YPF SA. Roberto keeps up with the financial market and is an avid car collector, with his family being his number one priority.
